Dugout Report: Greinke goes for 17th win as Dodgers face D-backs
PHOENIX -- Zack Greinke takes the mound seeking his 17th win of the season as the Dodgers take on the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday.
Greinke already leads the NL in winning percentage (.842), ERA (1.68) and WHIP (0.856). He’ll be matched up against Arizona left-hander Patrick Corbin, who enters the game with a 3.32 ERA.
The Dodgers will go heavy on right-handed hitters against Corbin, as Justin Ruggiano, Jose Peraza, Scott Van Slyke and A.J. Ellis will all get starts.
Dodgers manager Don Mattingly will go with some lefties, however, as Adrian Gonzalez, Joc Pederson and Corey Seager will all start. Seager, the 21-year-old rookie shortstop, has at least one hit in all eight of his starts this season and has reached base in nine straight plate appearances.
